Our Christmas Celebration!

We had a great Christmas this year! Christmas Eve we watched family videos together and some Christmas movies. We then did our family tradition of reading The Night Before Christmas (which the kids love)! We open one present on Christmas Eve, which are their P.J.'s and the kids loved them! The twins had little matching ones, which they thought was really neat! This year Caden was so excited it took him quite a while to fall asleep! Which meant I was up really late wrapping presents. Then I wake up to hear someone going down the stairs and it was...Caden. He was so excited. He didn't torture us too bad it was 7:20.
So after we read the story of the Saviors Birth we headed downstairs for the presents! The kids were so much fun to watch this year. The older they get the better it is. I think especially cause this year they all made a list and asked for things, so when they got something they asked for they were especially excited. Notice the picture of Kylee running to the dollhouse Santa brought her! Gotta love it! The kids loved every minute of Christmas day! Thank you to both sets of Grandparents for the great gifts to all of us, we love you!
That night we went to the movies with some friends and watched Bedtime Stories. Caden LOVED it and the twins actually watched a good deal of it. It was the best trip to the movies with the whole family yet! I think it's cause we had so much popcorn and treats Kylee and Brandon couldn't get too distracted.
As for me, Ryan got me a Garmin 305 Forerunner and I am soooo excited to get to use it! I'm just slightly bumed cause every time I think of it and get excited, I am reminded that I still have 3 weeks til this baby comes and with a C-Section it will be a good 6 to 7 weeks before I can even think about working out... oh well in due time right? I had another nesting day today and already got the decorations put away and my house clean! Except for the tree, in my state that's too big of a task at the moment, so I'll just have to harp on Ryan to take it down for me! I just love Christmas time and I'm always so sad to see it go. I love everything that comes with it, the smells, goodies, music, friends and family, and most importantly the time that it gives me to reflect on why we celebrate this wonderful holiday. I am so thankful for the Savior and that he was born in such humble circumstances, just so that we can return to live with Him again someday. I'm so thankful for the gospel in my life! Merry Christmas to everyone, and may the new year bring you many blessings and tons of happiness!

It looks like the kids had a good time. I love Kylee's face when she saw the doll house. Too cute! Thanks for your testimony. You are always such a great example to me! Miss you tons!
