First off I will put on record that the only thing that would have made this trip even better than it already was, is if we would have been there with our cousins, the
Teicherts. We missed them by one day people, lame! But we just couldn't get our schedules to come together...bummer.
We did have a fabulous time in the sticky humid weather on the
ol' Mississippi!
Hangin' at the sun stone.

Poor Hanna has a banged up knee and has surgery on the 11
th. All the walking around
aggravated it so she
sported this wheel chair for a time!

We celebrated the Twins birthday while in
Nauvoo! Some of us had gone to the Sunset by the Mississippi, a variety show put on by the missionaries,(funniest thing I've ever seen, it was great!) and
Kylee had fallen asleep back at the house. We woke her up to do presents and cake and ice cream, and a nice little tantrum we got! So we sang, Brandon opened all his presents, and finally about a half hour later she calmed down and decided to open her own. A very memorable birthday!

A few pictures of what we did! Learned to make some rope, candle making, the brickyard, and the gorgeous temple!

We went to the
pageant one night and it was fabulous! I went quite a few years ago when it was the "old
pageant" and it was
ok, but this one was great! Very spiritual and moving! They also did all these fun old pioneer games, the kids loved it! It was such a great trip. I love
Nauvoo, the feel of the place, the spirit you feel and the history.
