My Boy is a First Grader!

Can you believe this face is a first grader?! I know it's so crazy and hard to believe! Time goes by so quickly! TOO quickly!

Walking down to 'Cluster B' the First grade section of the school. The school is sectioned off so they don't often see the other grades, which is nice. A little frightening that he goes to school with 5th graders!

Caden and his teacher, Mrs Nelson. Everyone that know he has her raves about how she's the best teacher! Which calms my first time motherly fears. He will spend most of his waking hours with her than me...yikes!

(BTW: Notice her legs...awesome!) anyways it was so fun to see him so excited and ready for this next adventure in his life. i of course shed a few tears as I hugged him good bye and then his teacher reassured me he'd be OK, she shed some dropping off her 3rd and 4th grader. Well of course I knew he'd fine, honestly he couldn't wait for us to leave! It's all me! What will I do without my helper?! Kindergarten didn't phase me, cause he was only gone 3 and 1/2 hours and I mostly ran errands, got things done! Today as all the other kiddos were down for quiet time, I was so lonely! He was my buddy! I know I'll be fine but this was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be! Then it hit me even harder...when the twins go to first grade in 2 years, I loose two buddies at ONCE! AHHH! I'm sure once I get used to this and in this new routine, once summer hits for a few weeks I'll be wanting school to come back...or will I be that mom who always wants her kids close by?! We shall see! Life is such a catch 22!
