This is my sweet little sister Annie.
I was 17 when she was born, leaving me only a year to be around her ALL the time.
I sure loved her. Taking her to Basketball games, or pretty much anywhere my mom would let me. She was a hot commodity among my friends as well.
When she was born, we skipped school to go hang out with her.
I think my mom, being post pardom, was in a fog, cause she never seemed to ask why we were out of school...:)
She's been more like a little niece in some ways than a sister. She's closer to my kids age than my own. But despite ALL that she is still my sister, and I sure love her like one.
She's ALOT like me. Which is probably good that there is some distance in our age.
That way we can really like each other. Other wise it could spell disaster!
Two strong willed stubborn girls close in age could be scary!
I hope she knows how much I love her, even if we haven't grown up together.
She's been a good little aunt to my kids. And that makes me smile.
