Maybe because I've never lived in a neighborhood like this before, but every spring and fall they flush out the hydrants, they post signs telling you when they are going to do it and not to wash your clothes that day.(Why? and why just the clothes, what about showering and your dishes??) Anyways we happened to be outside when they came by and the kids LOVED it! One of the neighbor girls was running through the water, which madE my kids want to, but if they aren't going to let you wash your clothes, I wasn't about to let them much to their disappointment. I did let them walk through the huge puddles afterwards and that made them happy!Wednesday, April 29, 2009
Spring time flushing!
