So I went to Costco the other day and decided I'd try those gingerbread house kits for my kids to put together. Not as good as my Grannie's homemade ones, but still easy and I thought it would be a fun thing for the kids to do! They had a blast putting it together! Brandon thought it was more fun to eat the candy than put it on the house, while the other two tried to get as much candy as they could on the house. Kylee even trying where there was no frosting! About two hours after we had finished, I didn't hear the twins ( which usually means they are getting into something) and they were both up on the counter with the house completely destroyed, and about half of it eaten! Oh well it was fun while it lasted! It finally warmed up some, so I let Caden go out sledding and he had a blast! He stayed out for about 1 and 1/2 hours. (When I say warmed up I mean 15 degrees! They say this is not usual for this time of year, I hope they are right!) Kylee went out for about 2 minutes and decided that it was too cold for her, and Brandon didn't even attempt it!

I saw those at Costco and thought they looked fun. Maybe we'll get one when Coop gets older. Let us know when you guys are coming up so we can plan to get together with everyone.

Katie!!! I'm so happy you left me a comment I so wish I would have known you were in Minnesota too...we lived in Woodbury (on the other side of St Paul). I would LOVE to get together next week when you're in UT. I'll try to remember to give you a call tomorrow.
hey katie...how did you find us? crazy, i'm glad you did. i cannot believe how old caden is!! it's like you were just pregnant with him! and brandon is a little clone of ryan..does everyone say that? why are you guys in minnesota? obvioulsy ryan's job, but what is he doing? so good to see you all again! it's crazy that you guys have three kids! the twins are over two now right? so are you planning on having anymore?
oh yeah, and we did the gingerbread house too, but i glue gunned the parts together, so Porter had NO chance of eating the cookie part! hahah, i guess i'm an anal mom!
