Dodging a close one

Last night was nail biting. Heart pounding. Jump out of your seat nerve racking.
But all of that on the edge of your seat scariness was not spent in vain.
Purdue pulled it out! Winning 59-58. One point.
But a win is a win right?!
(After the game Chris Kramer said that... yep I hung out among the players. More on that later...)

Anyways back to the beginning.
As I left to pick Ryan up to go to the game, I hit some major traffic.
Almost Chicago style traffic. Scary I know.
This is why:

Yep. Car on fire. Crazy!

But with much time to spare, (1 and 1/2 before the game). We arrived!
There was only a hand full of people, and the players were out on the court shooting around.
As we walked down, knowing we had court side seats(yeah!) Robbie Hummel said hi to Ryan!
I know, so huge! He chocked out a 'hey' back. They had trouble figuring out where our seats were, but once they did, I think we were both shocked beyond belief!

Our seats were right next to the Big Ten Network Press!

Here is the warm up an hour before the game.
Lewis Jackson, with E'twan Moore in the background.

This was my seat:

Ryan texting his brother about his sweat seats!

More warm up. Chris Kramer behind Ryan.

JaJuan Johnson

Robbie Hummel

Start of the Game. E'Twaun Moore.

More pics from the game:
Then the unthinkable happened. Robbie Hummel fell with an injury to his right knee.
Out the rest of the game! I think this might put Ryan in a deep depression...
We really struggled for the rest of the game. Hence the incredible nerves and no more pictures...
But, Keaton Grant pulled it out for us making 2 big shots and we WON!
After the few Purdue fans in the building congregated by the player bench and waited for the team to come out. Chris Kramer's mom shared some very exciting news to me about him breaking some record or something,( I really had no clue what she was talking about, but I got all excited with her just the same!) and them shared some cookies with us!
So pretty much now I'm in tight with the family:)
It was such a blast. So thankful to Holly for watching my kids so we could go.
Let hope Hummel isn't too injured, as to not dash our dreams of a final four...

Too bad nobody cares about your precious little Boilermakers. You need to start getting behind some real teams, like the Buckeyes. Now there is an athletic program worth blogging about.

Too bad we killed you guys on your own home court, and we lead the big ten... we still will pull it out even with Hummel out, your program would be crap without Turner. Your a one man team. All in love though, all in love!

So glad you went to the game. When Purdue tried to lose I had someone to blame it on! I was yelling "Why isn't Katie cheering hard enough"! Way to pull it out in the end! Go Boilers.
